Professional Achievements
IT, finances and management
- Simplifying the administrative proceedings for easing the other department’s tasks.
- Network operation and support, database coordination, certifies copies.
New magnetic materials
- Participated on creating a new MnAl magnetic compound, expected to fill the niche between the ferrous magnets and the rare-earth based ones regarding cost-magnetism.
- Collaboration with the Operations Division for the quality control and structural analysis of ironbased alloys.
Nanomaterials for energy applications
- Lead the creation of a new system for improving safety during transport and manipulation of heavy metals nanoparticles.
- Exposed the research results during the conference CYSENI 2017; and after they were used for the paper “A new method of nanocrystalline nickel powder formation by magnetron sputtering on the water-soluble substrates” [Materials Research Express; ref. MRX-105396.R1].
University politics and students representation
- Review and modifications proposal concerning the degrees formative plan and their professional attributions
- Supported the creation and development of a Debate and Formation Group, for students.
- Cooperation with the University for setting up the English accreditation system.
Sustainable development and environmental protection
- I helped coordinating the cleansing and maintenance of a Natural Reserve close to Hermeskeil (Germany).
